Christmas Decorations Workshop using Coloured Metal threads

This beginners workshop will be tutored by Julie Clemett. For the workshop your kit will have all materials needed for the three designs shown but you will only be working on one of your choice in the workshop. The designs included are Angel, Wreath and Candle and they are worked in a variety of gilt and mettallic threads, the techniques for stitching with each will be covered in the workshop.

Workshop is limited to 10 spaces

This type of embroidery does require some specialist products and details are in the information sheet sent out after order but in summary they are: non-slip hoop 6-8inch, handsfree stand or Quick Grip, fine pointed tweezers, thread conditioner, scissors for goldwork (serrated or fine nail scissors) as well as small, sharp bladed scissors for threads and fabric. Tutor: Julie Clemett (JCEmbroidery) who has a wide range of embroidery interests but particularly enjoys using and combining traditional techniques into modern projects. Julie enjoys assisting students to master a new technique, building their confidence and to appreciate their developing talents
