Having learnt basic stitches from her mother who was a skilled embroiderer, Amanda got back into embroidery during the Covid lockdowns, teaching herself from craft books and Pinterest. A jewellery designer friend commissioned Amanda to make jewellery pouches and then after retiring from her journalism career, Amanda began creating brooches under her Smart Tart label. Her first bookmarks were made as Christmas gifts.

The workshop is limited to 6 spaces

Afterpay available online for payment

Full information will be sent out once order received

Facilities: Tea and coffee provided only
