Make one bookmark on the day and have one for when you are home. Having learnt basic stitches from her mother who was a skilled embroierer, Amanda got back into embroidery during the Covid lockdowns teaching herslf from craft books and Pintrest. A jewellery designer friend commissioned Amanda to make jewellry pouches and then after retiring from her journalism career Amanda began creating brooches under her Smart Tart label.
