Knitting Skills Workshop

Over the course of 3 evenings you will learn new skills to enable you to knit this Knitting for Olive 'Katholt Sweater'. This is an advanced top down workshop. The 'Kids' design kit is knitted in 2 strands of KFO Merino. We can quote if you would rather knit 1 strand Merino + 1 strand Soft Silk Mohair. You may choose any colour available from the KFO Merino , and KFO Soft Silk Mohair range. The default colour for the workshop in Dusty Moose & Pearl Gray as per shop sample. We will be in contact to discuss your colour choice.

The skills you will learn are:

Reading a chart
Fair Isle knitting
M1R and M1L
Shaping with raglan increases
Body shaping with sleeves

The workshop is ideally suited to an intermediate knitter who would like to learn new techniques including reading charts for Fair Isle patterns.

The workshop is limited to 6 spaces and the KFO yarns needed to complete pattern are included in workshop price. If you require needles (3.5mm and 4.5mm circular), stitch markers or stitch holders please let us know and we can help with those also. Afterpay available for payment when paying online.

Full information and other requirements will be sent out once order received. Pre-work is required so we will be intouch to discuss colour choice and collection. Courier will be charged if you are not able to collect.

About the Pattern

Katholt Sweater has a raglan construction and features a charted allover two-coloured striped Fair Isle pattern and ribbed edges. The sweater is worked entirely in the round from the top down using either 2 strands of Merino held together or 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.

Size: 1 year: Chest circumference approx 60cm: Full length at mid front approx 30cm: Sleeve length from underarm to edge approx 19cm

Size: 2 years: Chest circumference approx 66cm: Full length at mid front approx 34cm: Sleeve length from underarm to edge approx 23cm

Size: 4-6 years: Chest circumference approx 72,76cm: Full length at mid front approx 38,43cm: Sleeve length from underarm to edge approx 26, 30cm
