Rail Sweater is a simple children’s sweater with a round yoke and an allover striped pattern featuring garter ridges. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round using 1 strand of Heavy Merino. Full pattern information is below.

Gauge (after blocking) 20 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm in st st with 4.5 mm

You start with the ribbed neckband, shape the yoke with increases before dividing work at underarms. Afterwards, body and sleeves are finished separately in the round. Ribbed edges that mirror the neckband finish both body and sleeves. You can stitch the garter ridges in contrasting colour.
