'Mein Liebling' (My Darling) by Julie Clemett 

Schwalm Embroidery combines drawn thread work, pulled thread work, and whitework and is generally bold, folk motifs – tulips, hearts, flowers & birds. Mein Liebling includes tulips, hearts and flowers.

Requirements:

  • 35ct Linen 40 x 40cm
  • Lining Fabric for front
  • Threads - Coton a broder No 16 x 5 skeins, No 25 x 3 skeins, Stranded x 1 skein
  • Needles - Tapestry #24, Chenille #24
  • backing fabric, trim, inner and zip for finishing
  • Other requirements: scissors, erasable pen, 6 inch embroidery hoop, awl or large embroidery needle
