This type of embroidery does require some specialist products: non-slip hoop 6-8inch, handsfree stand or Quick Grip 6 inch clamps for clamping to your workbench, fine pointed tweezers, marking pen, baking paper -approx 20cm,  thread conditioner, scissors for goldwork (serrated or fine nail scissors) as well as small, sharp bladed scissors for threads and fabric, Needles: Sharp #10 or Long Beading needle #10, Iron.
