The body is worked in the round to the underarms where it is then divided at the center front. Back stitches are placed on hold and each front is worked and shaped separately back and forth. The length of the wide I-cord shoulder straps and the body can easily be adjusted. The back is straight and is finished with an I-cord edging. Chrysler Top is intended to be fitted and is therefore designed with negative ease. The half-twisted rib creates an elastic fabric that will stretch to give a good fit. The length of the body will consequently be shorter when worn compared to measurements taken flat. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
