Knitting Skills Workshop
Over the course of 2 Saturdays you will learn new skills to enable you to knit this Knitting for Olive 'Cat Beanie'. This is a good workshop if you are a knitter currently but are new to circular knitting. It will also teach you how to do Kitchener Stitch You may choose any colour available from the KFO Heavy Merino and KFO Soft Silk Mohair range. The default for the workshop in Oatmeal.
The skills you will learn are:
- Long Tail Cast on & joining in the round
- M1Rp and M1Rp
- Kitchener Stitch
The workshop is ideally suited to an intermediate knitter who would like to start learning knitting on circular needles.
The workshop is limited to 6 spaces and the KFO yarns needed to complete pattern are included in workshop price. If you require needles (3.5mm and 4.5mm circular) or stitch markers please let us know and we can help with those also. Afterpay available for payment when paying online.

About the Pattern
Olive’s Cat Beanie is worked in the round from the bottom up with 1 strand of Heavy Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.
You start with the ribbed brim, continue in stockinette stitch over the body of the hat before the two cat
ears are shaped with increases and decreases. The crown is shaped to give a good fit.
Sizes: 1-2 (3-4, 5-8) years // XS/S (S/M, M/L) to fit head circumference of approx. 45-48 (48-51, 51-53) // 53-55 (55-57, 57-60) cm
